"2" is one of the Format Statements. A Format Statement tells MP how to define the "number" portion of a variable. In your case, if you are using a Generic Fanuc post from Mastercam as a starting point, means that "2" uses the "4 place decimal (inch), 3 place decimal (metric)". So it is "up to 4 decimal digits" for output. If the output is less than 4 digits, it only outputs the needed places. The number "0.41" as input would output "0.41". But the number "0.043321", would output "0.0433"...
