in the pcomment2 postblock there are some different conditions check for.

I f pick 1006 in the manual entry box and then in the post block make a condition for it.

I dont have post on this pc its my kids gaming pc, but I think this will work.

pcomment2

___if gcode = 1005,...

___if gcode = 1006,...

___if gcode = 1007,...

___if gcode = 1008,...

quote:

pcomment2 #Comment from manual entry

scomm = ucase (scomm)

if gcode = 1007, "(", scomm, ")"

else, "(", scomm, ")", e

try this:

pcomment2 #Comment from manual entry

scomm = ucase (scomm)

if gcode = 1005, "(", scomm, ")"

if gcode = 1006, scomm

if gcode = 1007, "(", scomm, ")"

if gcode = 1008, "(", scomm, ")"

and make sure to check 1006 in the manual entry box

Scott

pcomment2 is called from pcomment

pcomment

__pcomment2

pcomment2

...

...

...

if you use scomm inside of pcomment it goes away, so call pcomment2 and you can reuse it.

look at mpfan.pst and the way the post blocks are called.

make sure there are no spaces in front of postblocks and that they are in front of the if statements(I cant get the code to look right here.

Scott

I fixed the haas post for comments by opening the mpmaster and a haas post side by side in the cimco editor. Look at the comment lines in both then edit in the comment lines from the mpmaster to the haas post. Then I commented out the old lines in the haas post with a "#"

It worked great
