Extending tool path for plunge

Is there a way in MCX9 SHS Waterline to extend the tool path at each level pass so the tool plunges to the next waterline off the part?  I can't find it anywhere.  I don't want to create extended surfaces, etc. to accomplish this.  I have tried all manner of containments and check surfaces to get this done easily on each job but to no avail.  I think there was a way in V9 but we can't go back to that.  Can any one help?

Oh, for what you want, no. Not with Waterline. It will ramp down to the next depth level, while staying engaged on the part.

To get the "Arc off, Arc on", use Surface Finish Contour path instead. (Right-click in Ops Manager to access.)

I haven't used this path in a while, but I always wished there was an overlap like like a 2d contour.
