I would like to buy  3Dconnexion 3DX-700028 Space Navigator  to use with  the mastercam

 Any one using this kind of mouse ?

Any recommendation and opinions  would be nice

I bought one of those for myself to use at home (wireless version), and it works just fine. It doesn't have all the extra programmable buttons like my Pro at work, but still nice to have for 3D work.

You will find a lot of us use these devices. I find it hard not to have one when designing or Programming.
Now of course the bigger ones have more option and buttons but the one you are looking at the Space Navigation is the wired version of say the Wirless one that comes with two buttons.
You can turn this it to 8 options easily.

Here is an older video of what I am talking about. this would work the same in the new version and with the unit you are looking at.
