Stock model in Vericut?

Anybody know if you can use a stock model for stock with Vericut?

you cannot use mastercams stock model for Vericut. Vericut wants an stl. file for stock model. What you want to do is export your mastercam file as an stl. and then use that.

the Vericut mastercam interface button does not access mastercams stock setup.

Thanks, just wanted to check.

I did run Mastercam verify on a stock model then saved that as an STL so that was helpful.

yes. you can also save a vericut model as an stl. if running a first OP, then use that cut stock for the secont OP which is more desireable results than mastercams creation of an stl. file based off mastercams verify.

I think you can Right-Click on the Stock Model to get some quicker "export/save" options for the model. No need to load in Verify, just to save as an STL. Should be able to do that with the Right-Click options...

Do it all the time. Right Click on stock model in the operations manager or use the drop down that is with the stock model in the machine ribbon.
