parasolid conversion error

Hey guys,

Ok so I found an old thread on this site, but the solution was never given in the thread. I am trying to open a .X_T file in mastercam. I am running mastercam version X7, the .X_T file was posted out of autodesk inventory 2017. I get the error "PK ERROR CODE 970-open/close/read/write error for schema file-check PSLDDATA directory".  I have looked in my COMMONPSLDDATA sub-directory  for SCH_12103.S_T and SCH_12102.S_T , neither of these two files are present nor can I find them online. Any help in resolving this issue would be appreciated.

The most recent parasolid version X7 can open is V25 .. I'm guessing Invertor 2017 defaults to V29 or 29.1

You need to open the options page  in Inventor's Save As parasolid page and set the export version to V25 or lower

then you should be able to open the exported file in X7

Its possible that the .X_T file  was created to a later version than X7 can handle.

Try opening with later version of MasterCam, or have Autodesk save to older XT version, try V18.
