Hour glass tool when back plotting a transform tool path

Having a problem back plotting a transform in X9. My 2-inch face mill looks like an hour glass when I back plot a transform tool path. Regular back plot is fine no problem. Also, when I Verify, the transform 2-inch face mill is good once again. It is only back plotting the transform that I have a problem. The tool comes from Tool Manager. Any ideas?

Check your tool definition...it's most certainly incorrect....

Likely has to do with the sizes of the dia's being wrong

If it s a 90 degree face mill with a corner radius, try defining it as a Ø2" bull endmill

90° face millis  with corner radii are very problematic

Also make sure the length on the holder has room for the tool. I have seen the tool defined 2.00 and then someone will use 2.00 stick out and get an hour glass. They change the stick out from the holder to 2.001 and the hourglass goes away.
