3D Models of 40 and 50 taper holders.

Does anyone know of an archive of modeled up 40 or 50 taper holders.  Preferebly Kennametal.   Or...is there a way to kick out solids files of the holder models that are in the mcam library?

Why couldn't you ask this in the other thread you started?

I looked over at the tech exchange on the Mastercam website and they only have HSK-63A from Kennametal. There has been a lot of holder Libraries shared, but not sure if that is one I have seen shared.

Yes you can make solids the old school way by exporting the holder to a level and then using the revolved wireframe to create your own solid. Might could write a Nethook or Chook to automate it for you.

Either way I go back to what I mentioned in the other thread of using your Holder Library as your tool library to save you programming time.

You can download .stp files of holders from Kennametal's NOVO app.
