milling angles using Mastercam 2017

Greetings all,

This is my first post and I hope I have put it in the right area.

My question is simple,  I need to mill a 1 degree angle on the face of a part.

I don't know if this is something that can be programmed using Mastercam, or do I need to set up an angle plate or trunnion table at the desired degree and do it that way.

Every time I try this in Mastercam it tells me that the boundary is outside the construction plane.

Any ideas would be helpful.

Thanks in advance.
