Carmex has a new on-line threading wizard ( lathe and mill)

It is much better than the downloaded one I've been using for years

Looks slick, nice and quick.

Just used their default numbers for a 3/4-10 1-1/2" deep, and they say 11 minutes per hole in something like a 4150pht material.

That's crazy. Who takes 11 minutes to threadmill a hole?

try that using their line of spiral mill tools

I'm doing 1"-11.5 npt in steels and cast irons using those tools

30 seconds a hole and 100+ holes per set of inserts
