just doing a simple pocket on a step -.02 deep to hold .001 flatness etc...  could be software problem.  look at the tool path.

using 3/32 em   weird..  setting are all good   using morph takes longer...

Yeah I wouldn't use that toolpath for what your doing. If you need 5 Axis motion then might think about a Pocket toolpath and then use convert to 5 axis. I have done this where I want pocket toolpath cutting motion for multiaxis movements and it works really well.

Convert to 5 axis is imo super powerful and way overlooked.  I'd bet a dollar I use it more than any one of the other 5 axis paths.

That appears to be a flat feature and for that I would use area mill with an air chain.  I would also do anything possible to not use any rotary motion if I were trying to 3d a flat face.
