This issue doesn't come up often but in the times it has, I'll make a quick dummy toolpath to wipe away the remaining stock and ghost the path so as to not actually output while posting...

I know of no other way to do it with a stock model

Verify and then use the remove chips. Save out as an STL and go from there. You will have to do the Pmesh wash in Mastercam to get a non-hallow stock model, but once you do that wash you should be good to go.
