So.... My first question is how many of ya use G95 full time and not only for tapping?

 

My current issue is, our Iscar rep suggested using IPR instead on drilling to maintain the ratio.  So I turned on G95 in the Misc value table and when it posted out, the G95 was there, but I noted the feed rate remained at F8.88.  Fairly sure that should be F.006, but I wanted to confirm this before I do anything.

I seem to remember a switch at the top of the .pst file as well.

In General Output Settings section. Just checked it, need to initialize the variables to 1

I'm guessing someone hard coded ipr feedrates  out of the post sometime in the past

I  have programmed for shops that run all their milling in G95

They do it because federate remains at the correct IPR if the operator edits  the feed rate

or over rides it at the control
