Ok, this job hit the floor today and all the tool paths came out nice, except there is an under cut on the ears due to the rotation. What is the magic fix?
You could just use a contour toolpath with rotary axis control set to axis substitution to rotate about x axis, and substitute y axis. If you do this be sure to have a check in the unroll box. you can also project the edge curve to a flat boundary, in this case make sure the unroll is not checked. if the wall on the edge of the ear has to be parallel with the hole, create geometry for your edge curve to leave extra material on the ears, and do a finish pass by indexing the a axis and using a contour without rotary control for the finish pass on the ears. if you still have problems send me the file.
