  8. Is there a way to specify a diameter of your spot drill or just tip comp what do you do. Thanks in advance
  9. the simple way is to dial your z up or down in the z and set z most people set z at tool change location but its not real important. if you don't know where z is set it's simple as tc,1 then hit manual then jog to see it displayed if it is at z zero. or how far your off. move in that direction set z. then it's at your tool change location. or if you prefer z cs. hope this helps sounds like you got all the good info.
  10. I've worked exclusively in stainless the last five years one rule i swear by is small pecks with slow rpm because burning out drills is'nt faster. Stainless is more speed sensetive than most(not all) all other material. slower is faster and less stressful. Good Luck BIG JOHN
  11. i don't know about the tools you mentioned but z carbs work well. I have had similar problems with sgs also reduce surface footage sounds a little high for 17-4. even though they recommend 300sfm slower is not always better but usually have to search for the sweet spot of speed $ longevity. BIG JOHN
