Anybody know if you can rotate the part simultaneously as you change your tplane/cplane.
It would be nice to get a better look or feel for having the proper orientation.
(YOU know how we rotate our head to visualize the right rotation)
thats what I thought.I put the file oo the FTP polishman.zip in the mc9 folder
any additional help would be appreciated.I've got to go but will pick up tomorrow and look at your suggestions Steve
Thanks again
Oh boy this is what I thought.I wanted a challenge and I got one.I set my part up to machine from the face of the part and rotate about the "y".I thought that was what u do for a Horiz.
when THESE ARE DISPLAYED Do they represent the t-plane,,c-plane and wcs plane?
If so which is which?
I am trying to rotate one of my planes because I am getting the famous "only single axis rotation allowed" and I believe the problem is thay are not all going the same way.Am I on the right track? This is a Horiz app.
Thanks
Stan
I am working on a 4th axis part on a vertical.I'm practicing using the wcs and posting out code. The problem i 'm having is out putting similar angle rotation on 2 differnt sides of the part.I have 4 sides of the part I am milling and also using different work offsets on each.
If I display all axis (alt F9)I notice one of the axis is pointing the wrong way.I assume this is the problem because It looks like the orientation is for my top or (zero deg rotation),when I rotate the plane the axis rotates but I cannot get it to look correct. If I repaint the axis goes away or they look like they are going the wrong way .I tried hitting save and then look at it but it doesnt seem to change.
Am I on the right track here and has any body else have trouble seeing the modified rotation? Is this a graphic issue ?
Thanks fo the help!
Any body have an idea how to check the t-plane and c-plane and WCS in your parameters page with a setup sheet or vb script or something. It seems I missed a couple in my operations and noticed it in the NC code.I'm looking for something fairly simple or quick.
Thanks
Stan
Anybody know why my backplot function would be stuck in step mode.I click run and it just stops unless I click the mouse .....as if I were in step mode.
step mode is set to endpoints
tool motion set to animate
I've tried restarting m-cam and computer
version mr0105
thanks in advance
