I have a lob that requires Garolite (G10). About .5"x.6"x6". It has 18 .6mm holes drilled through the .6" section.

Has anybody ever worked with this stuff? How is it on tools? I think it is glass filled?

Rob is correct, you can use pocket or contour with taper options. If you draw it as a surface then use a surface toolpath.

Check out Daewoo, they make both box and linear. If you get them without the coolant through the spindle they are a lot less expensive.

Hi,

I have a drawing and tool paths that when verified in V9.1 look great but if you do the same in X I am getting a flat where I do not want or need one? Any ideas? The flat is where the slope meets the contoured hole, it shoud be sharp.

The files are on the FTP in the MC9 and MCX folders, the file name is "MILLERSOLIDFINAL1". I put the screen shots on the FTP in the all pictures folder, the files are "version 9.1 and version X"

Any help would be great!

When I bring a tool from the library it gives it tool # 237 say and offsets that match this but I want to change it to tool # 2 say. I thought you could right click on the tool parameter and edit the tool and it would change it, this does not work?

When I edit the head number it does not change the tool number and the H and D offsets, I have to do these one by one. I have my control def set "add to tool 0 length 0 dia"

What am I doing wrong?
