go to control panel, display, settings tab,advanced tab, adapter, properties there you can see what driver you are running. download the latest driver, install and see if that works better, if not you can actually try earlier versions if needed.

for magnetic steel, i use spi magnetic edge finder. you just put against side and use you indicator to center between two walls, real accurate.

I started my own shop 2 years ago, so I hopefully will never need to work for anybody else, other than my shop. If you want a positive assessment, the tyco healthcare up in deland (fl) who I assume is same parent company, is know around town as one of the better places to be an employee. As far as me inquiring, it is my most sincere desire to never work for another company directly again.
