Been doing it the way Alancopp way mentioned above for a long time.......File save as.....with new name.....saves a lot of time programming on moldbase ejec pin holes in all the b side plates......electrodes.......core and cavity work.....ect.

Our designer just installed and had the same issue as Manuel0822 on his new computer.
I remember reading this post just the other day......and told him (our designer) I think I know how to fix this problem.........

Mastercam will open .ai files from adobe Ill.
try and see what you get.............you will need a wireframe or vector if I remember......been a while.
If you put the file on the FTP site.........I'm sure you will get some help........may have to bump your topic...so someone will see you need help.

1)Project lines onto solid were ever you want them to show shape.
2) cut solid where needed to show shape and create edge curve then remove cut to get your solid back.

Some of our mold designs take a while to save...........and thats with no tool paths.......
