You should definitly stop using Valenite-VNT-700. Even when you the the right blend ratio on the refractor meter, this collent will rust your machine from the inside out. I say this from my own personal experience. I was able to prevent further damage to my machines by switching to Blaser 2000. This coolant has worked the best for me in every sense.

For Graphite you can use the entire flute lenght,so as to get the most out of your tool life. The material is easy to machine, but wears down a cutter from the abrasive nature of this material.

I too convert ProE files to IGES and then import into Mastercam without any errors. However you have to do this on ProE. You can also import a ProE file into Solidworks,and svae it as a part file. Then you can use Mastercam Solidworks converter.

I had a very old Fadal that had the same problem of the cabinet over heating. To remedey this I purchased a small cold air gun and piped it through the cabinet. This was cheap and effective.

I have both Fadals and a Haas. I would recomend either one of them. They are both American made and there plants are located in Southern California so parts and service are easy to come by. For Fadal service rate is 75.00 per hour travel 55.00 here in the Bay area. Haas is at 110.00 per hour.

I use it frequently. We machine complex features that are repeated in multiple instances on various types of parts. This is one of the best features that Mastercam has provided to speed up the programming time on very complex parts.
