I know that, but it seems like a total pain in the butt to customize the files. Any quick accurate way to do it. This has always been an issue with me with MC. Why shouldn't they be set pretty good from the onset, why do we have to customize. I have been using MC for over five years, and always do my own calculations because I never liked the RPM and feeds produced.

Hey all can any one help me understand the feed and RPM calculations in MC? I usualy calculate my own rpm and feed rates, because I do not like the stuff MC spits out.

Hey all I have an Okuma OSP. The IT dude came in this weekend and lost all of my files!!!!!! I got an email from one of you fine fellas helping me with a Okuma Post File, but alas the email is GONE!!!!!! I am at CCS Composites if any one remembers sending me informtion please let me know!!!! I need to try to rebuild it again. Damm IT Dudes

how do I scan a picture and import it, without using MC Art? I have a picture I want to import and apply tool path to 2d only

I started at a new company, they had Surfcam. At first I thought this stuff sucks, the drawing package is totaly crap. but I do have to admit the tool path is ok and the speeds and feeds are pretty good also. I will take MC over surfcam any day, but it is ok. Gee what ever happened to Geoprompt? that stuff rocked!

My Machine has around 49k of memory. I could not find the "Large" soft key. I am new to this machine, so be patient

Hey All I am working on an Okuma Mill, does any one know about adding more memory? Currently I can not load a program larger than 60k. DNC is a not the way I want to do parts all the time.

The tools loaded into your machine and the "length" offsets will have no effect on the metacut simulation. Most cnc simulators that run on a PC shouls assume tool lenght and not expect this information from the machine control. You should only need the set the metacut information to how far the tool is extended on of the tool holder and the actual tool dia that you are using.
