  1. Hi! I wonder if there is a way to make a level visible but not selectable? The reason I ask is because with level 9 I was able to make lines on the "fly" for boundries with all the end points jioned. We are using MR1 now and I find that when I want to create random lines, say for boundries it wants to grab end points and mid points even though the auto curser has them turned off? Maybe a more appropiate question would be how can I create random drawn lines, jioned, but not have it looking at other geom.? I'm sure that there must be an easy way I just haven't come across it yet! Thanks for any help Dan
  2. Another thing to check is your nc file name. Go to "edit select operations" than hit "change nc file name" and ensure that everything in your group has the same name. I am not positive about that but just have a suspicion??? Let us know if it works!
  3. Hi guys. I'm not sure what i am missing here but what i personally do is import operations with dedicated tooling. You can togle the "disable duplicate tooling" switch which will allow you to bring multiple tools of the same diameter. You can also maintain the original tool number by going into your definitions (before importing) and go to tool settings and uncheck the "assign tool numbers sequentially" This will allow you to maintain your original libray tool number. Have fun!
  4. Just to add something further, there is also an option in advanced options about over riding model with default values! It lets you keep clr. height etc.
  5. okday Gramby I might have something for you. Before you import the operation go to your stock setup- tool settings. In there you will find a seting for asigning tool numbers sequentially. Turn that off and it brings the original tool numbers in! Now the question is can that be set inside of config?
  6. Just by the by I noticed in system config under tool paths there is an option their for "use existing tools" when importing operations? Maybe that might help out? Like i say I never use import enough to to chase down the problems!
  7. Out of force of habit i will often go to the "edit selected operations" than "renumber tools" to get my off sets and values set properly. This only takes a second and usally sets every thing! To be quite honest I will not even bother checking if they are right or not because i have been burned once! The guys on the floor, thankfully are awake enough to catch it!
  8. I only mess with importing ocasionally but as i recall you have an option when you import to "disable duplicate tooling" I use this to avoid having tools of the same dia. being deleted! You also have some other options as i recall
  9. Some how I figured it would turn out that way! Thanks anyways!!
  10. If you hit your shift key and click on the last level you want on, than rt. click and select all on or off!
  11. I am new to version 10 and I am finding I can't use the "edit common parameters" as I was able to in version 9. Version 10 will not allow me to edit the side stock or comment box on multiple operations? This is a real hassel as it forces me to edit each operation seperatly. Am I missing something here? Any help would be appreciated!
  12. version 10 go to edit set normal version 9 go to analize -sufaces-set normal
