hi all, I am going to start using this renishaw probe on a haas vf4, so here is my first question. on a corner find is asking me for offset and xyz do I have to input xyz dimension on positive value? excuse my ignorance

hi Kyle, I am new to lathe arena but this shop still using a hitachi/seiki for 25+ years an still holding close tolerance. manager is quite happy with that.

hi Greg, I wish there where more choices, manager is kind of sold to mori. hi Kyle, do you use mastercam x4 to program your lathe? if yes, is it reliable? mazak and mastercam not a good pair some one told manager. I don't have much experience on lathe programing so I will be posting lots of questions. thank you all !!!

Hi Mike, Thanks for the input .We run alot of proto stuff with a mix of small run production.You answered his question on the type of machine.I think we are going with a mori nl2500y/700 they are all priced very low with all the discounts. Sergio

hmmm, this machine is plunging @ 50% of my surface high speed core settings. it could be a programmer error ,the control was my first guess. (using fadal format 1) thank you
