30 years since I touched Tecksoft
TekSoft became Procad 97 and that was the end for me
The coding for Procad 97 was done offshore and it was a complete mess.
Zero byte crashes were frequent, to the point it was difficult to get any work done.
I purchased Mastercam V7 in late 1997

Yes.. my fist Cad/Cam system that used a mouse was TekSoft... and a middle mouse button was mandatory

I use 2023 thread milling a dozen times a week
have you tried restoring the defaults for the thread mill toolpath??

X1.9425 Y-4.3521 I-.2073 J.151
X1.9426 Y-4.339 I-13.3641 J-.0059 (line:439574)There is X.0001 and Y.013 distance between these 2 endpoints and you are swinging a 13.364 radius arc
This move is so close to a straight line that the difference us immeasurable.
You might want to look at the break are settings on the Arc page of your control definition

If your machine runs this OK, it means the endpoint tolerances in your Vericut machine are set too tight

or not.. I tired two different email addresses
no reply to either, yet

It should be almost instant.
Check your spam folder.. or try a different email address

We use separate chains for roughing, semifinish and finish
Stock to leave is always zero on all toolpaths
It's more work but it is 100% reliable and you never screw up a part because
"Stock to Leave" was set incorrectly

I think a lot of this is post related as regular coolant, M08 M09 outputs
fine if I do my part.
However. some of our machines require multiple codes for high pressure output.
for example
M08 (coolant on)
M183 ( 1000 psi thru coolant on)
*** toolpath ***
M181 (High pressure off)
M09 (coolant off)
Neither Advanced drilling, nor our Postability post can handle high pressure coolant
and I have to hand edit the coolant output.
Last week I got in a hurry and forgot to fix the coolant output for an $800 drill
Fortunately, our operator was on the ball and spotted it.
Otherwise we'd be on the EDM sinker for a week or so trying to burn
an $800 drill out of a $12K part.

It seems to be working today
I've logged in a couple times with no issues this morning
I do have to hit the Log In button twice though
-
Have you tried the Tech Exchange on Mastercam.com
-
three failures this morning
can't even get in the front door

This file is generating by Vericut
I usually see it when I ask Vericut to try and repair an STL stock file

Well.. we're in the third week of the 2nd quarter OF 2023, so that schedule has slipped

I tried to log in this morning and wasn't successful
I did not close the web browser (Edge)
I just opened than page and I was logged into Mastercam.com
It took an unknown amount of time. I let the wheel spin for about 5 minutes this morning before I moved
on to other things. The log on was successful, it just took a while, though I can't say how long
For sure it took longer than 5 minutes
-
It has been 4 or 5 days since I successfully logged into Mastercam.com
I'm usually able to log in and access the Download and Tech Exchange pages
but I have trouble getting into the forum.
Lately, I have not been able to log at all
It would be a real problem if there was an update I needed to download

My 1st manufacturing job was afternoons & weekends running a punch press in High School (1974-75)
this would be against the law and considered child endangerment today

If 53 is a school kid, what does that make me at 27?
If the manufacturing trade advances as much in your 50 years as it did in my 50 years
you are in for some exciting and interesting times

PSB LINE (-1,6684)
This is in the encrypted PSB file and users cannot access this
I'm guessing that someone has defined a variable in the main pst file that already exists in the PSB file

You have the "Show associative gemometry" button enabled
Your model is not driving the toolpath you are selecting so it gets hidden

I started doing this on v5 in 94.
I took 3 semesters of V7 classes at a local community college, but
never did any actual work or made any chips with V5.
I purchased V7 but moved to V8 beta within weeks.
That was in late 1998.

I would check your facing tool and spindle for runout.
Something is not right.
