  1. I guess we are gonna have to get back on maintenence and upgrade because we deal exclusivly with solids.
  2. Thats great...ALL of my parts are solids.
  3. I'm running Xmr2. Anyone have a problem with operations reverting to "original" selected geometry when copying operations then revising them to use "other" geometry? This happens to me fairly regularly with drilling and milling operations. I won't copy anymore cause I never know when its going to do this and cause a crash. Any Ideas?
  4. I am very new to MC so I am confused also, but according to the error it is a problem with with chaining of overlapping entities.
  5. The eror I get is "There are overlapping entities in the chained geometry" I haven't modified to Solidedge file, just opened it, so I am unsure if this is where the "edge curves" you mentioned comes into play. BTW I have been using MC for all of 5 days with no formal training.
  6. I can open the files just fine, however when I attempt to create toolpaths I get the error. When I am selecting the areas to machine I can see the overlaping surfaces when they are highlighted, problem is they wern't created this way.
  7. Thnx Lacky, that makes sense. Anyone have any idea where the overlaping comes from? The files are very simple and look very "clean" when viewed in Solidedge.
  8. I am haveing a problem when importing Solidedge files into X. I get the message overlaping entities, but when I run the findoverlap chook,I am unable to select anything for it to check.Any ides?
