Hey Everyone Boss has a spare monitor asked me if I wanted to add it to my system. If I do this can I run Mastercam Split screen; Model on one, tool ops on other? If not I am not sure I want to give up the desk space. Any advice? Thanks Thanks

ES1000 VMC with 840D controller I am not commanding the probe properly to do a Z touch and store position in common variable. I am not getting movement in Z or storage in Common Variables. I ultimately want to go to G54 A90 XY location Z toucjh and store in Common, rotate to A-90. store in 2nd common variable, the take 1st common Plus G54 Z - 2nd common plus G54 Z and set G54 and 55 Central to G54. I cant say enough about Mastercam in the milling area, but I hava to say in the Multi task lathe area I am quite dissapointed, how are all of you finding things in the Multi task area?

you can use Toolpaths, Solid, Solid drilling and auto select based on various parameters, ie Rad, Dia, level ect ect, this said I posted a similar question earlier regarding WCS and Solid Drilling.

Any new news on this issue, I had to uninstall Mastercam and the latest windows update, set my auto update to notify only, I have reloaded Mastercam X2 MR2 and have run successfully, but am getting dumped about once a day, and would like to know when we can start accepting windows updates again.

Any Job you can do on a VMC you can do on a HMC but the reverse is not so, and Yes gravity is a friend chips fall away much better.

Hey everyone I am cutting a Dome shape that goes out to a vertical ID with a .094r blend, I have a 7/8 Ø Boss Protruding from the Domeand blending ti the Vertical ID, I cannot for the life of me get a clean countour to follow around the dome and continue up and around the Boss, on clean full climb revolution with a 3/16 Ø ballnose. I did all the work so far with pencil cut but my outside vertical edge has a real coarse Facet look to it I believe I should have set my tolerance tighter, but I would still just like to take this cleanup pass Thanks Camathome

Hey Chris I was running X2-MR2 with patches 1 and 2 on a newer Dell System, with NVIDIA GS 7900 Video card on a NetHasp with Switches we use the S, M3, D and or L1 I spoke to our rep when my system failed and he informed me that I would have to unInstall the Latest Microsoft Security update and Mastercam, Download X2 Mr2 and reinstall, I also set my auto update option to Notify when updates available no download or install until I chose to.
