  1. dprovost71, Rickster's advice is what I was going to suggest. The command is called "Split" and is part of the Create-Surface menu. You have to move the base of the arrow near the point of the surface you want it to be "divided" at but it's not exact. Once you've clicked on the position you'll have two choices for the split direction, either lengthwise along the surface or across it. The "flip" button is on the left side of the ribbon bar. It looks like the "reverse chain" arrow button in the toolpath chain dialog. HTH BTW, this is Peter, formerly of S4A fame. How are you guys doin'? Everyone still there that I remember? E-mail me if you get a chance. L8tr.
  2. Chris, No biggie. Thanks for the Balax info. I found the STI chart in their catalog. That works. I owe you one. Maybe we can meet at Longhorn or something after work sometime. jeff, I downloaded the "heliexe" EXE file to my desktop. What does it do exactly? I don't want to install anything without having some knowledge of what to expect. The IT people get nervous with new software. Thanks All. It's good to be back! Happy Turkey and Football Day!!
  3. jeff, Where on the FTP is that file located? What's the folder name? Charlie and Hardmill, Thanks for the site suggestions. Happy Turkey Day!
  4. Chris, Thanks for the info about the Balax site. I had browsed that site a couple of weeks ago but maybe I didn't look close enough. Are you back at work? Good to hear although I hope you don't push it too much. This is Peter, formerly of S4A fame. jeff, I appreciate that site info. I have some of the sizes for helicoil roll taps but would like a more complete list. Happy Thanksgiving Everybody!
  5. Hey Everybody, Anyone know where I can find a tap drill chart for helicoil taps? I have the big MSC decimal equivalent poster w/standard tap & drill info. What I'm looking for is a drill chart that provides sizes for helicoil inserts. I'm not even sure if there is one but any info would be appreciated. TIA
  6. bigjohn, Henk and others are right. Take it from a former employee of a Mastercam reseller. It is not legal for them to use it but they should be able to transfer the licenses. Of course there is a fee involved. I don't know the cost but it may be less than if they were to purchase the 3 licenses from their reseller directly. HTH
  7. Chris Bell @ CNC Soft., What's the progress on this? Any information about a fix? I'm using MR1 now without any glitches but would love to re-install MR2. TIA.
