  1. You don't have to make another machine group. Is your tool plane set to your new WCS?
  2. quote ________________________________________________ "Why doesn't mask on arc find all of the arcs?" was one of my first questions here at the forum 6 years ago. Combine Views was the answer. ________________________________________________ I found this out about 2 months ago. I had about 1000 holes to pick and found out later it missed 8 of them. I sent the file to my reseller and he told me about combine views.
  3. I use F8 for dynamic rotation. Never found any way to do dynamic zoom.
  4. It's for a Siemens Sinumerik 840D
  5. Sorry - hit a bad key there They are all set at "Break rapid moves - XY/XZ/YZ then Z/Y/X for approach, Z/Y/X then XY/XZ/YZ for retract"
  6. They are all set at "Break rapid moves - XY/XZ/YZ
  7. One of my posts is outputting an XYZ rapid move all in one block. If I have a 1" clearance on one contour and a 2" clearance on a 2nd contour, it will retract to 1.0 after the first contour, then X*Y*Z2.0 to go to the second contour. The nobrk$ variable in the post is set to "no" and the "break rapid moves" option is set in the control definition. Are there any other switches that need to be set? Thanks. Ken
  8. Go to the tool settings page and check "From tool" instead of "From defaults". That should take care of it.
  9. mceditor.chm is a help file, not the editor. Make sure Mastercam is set as the default editor in the Configuration Start/Exit page. You can also access the editor from File / Open/Edit external. Choice of editor is selected from the Editor button at the bottom.
