  1. I would try 1:1 ratio and double checking tolerances. Then after inspecting your toolpath you may want to turn off/on the new arc filter in your control panel applet to further manipulate this behavior.
  2. Feature based machining - FBM mill/drill create 2d/3d toolpaths off of the solid w/out creating new geometry ~ also solid chaining..
  3. control-alt-delete then click the running processes tab to find it.
  4. specify margins in your stock definition and use "stock flip" in the misc ops menu is one solution.
  5. This to me is like Russian roulette. back up to network but if it causes MC to run keep it local (posts, config, machine defs etc). Is your network that bullet proof? I would even go so far as saving mcx files on network and backup (autosave setting) local at the worst. I just don't trust any network to not go down in the middle of a job!
  6. check it.. Pablo Huffaker (Grave Digger Monster Truck Driver and owner) 2007 Monster Jam World Finals Freestyle Champion, Mastercam user and MLC Customer will be in our booth on WED-FEB-25 to sign autographs and give away posters. it won't even be a Sunday! Sunday!
  7. Anyone? HOUSTEX George R. Brown Convention Center
  8. I don't think MC likes it for some reason. I'm trying to find out what settings if any are availabe to combat the intermittant crashes since loading it.
  9. Has anyone had any experience with this?
  10. quote: Yeah..having them as a side by side has been an issue for some on hereMake sure all your migrated settings are linked to X3 and not X2 still. Bob - the CRC error you mentioned can be affected by the control definition in cutter compensation settings. See - Allow cutter compensation in control to be activated in arcs.
  11. I'm looking for a vista solution to this if anyone knows of one. good for XP /shareware/ tia, Louis
  12. another idea... *right side plane, create line from origin, ending at any angle to capture max cross section of part and then project /move/ to the solid /surface selection/.
