hi all
I'm getting an error message when I try to
change the w/o in the tool parameters page.
It happens on a copied surf. tool path.
I want to run the same TP twice in the same
program but with a different offset.
Anyone had this problem before or know what
causes it.
Try a 2D toolpath of the contour you want.
Then project it onto the surface.
Then transfrom by coordinate to the depth you
want.
It works for engraving onto a cont. surf
Francis
Try sketching a containment boundry around
the letter.After selecting the rectangle
you created and the letter geom.choose done.
Then select the area you want to cut.
Anywere inside the contian boundry.
You will also need to select areas inside the
letter if needed.
hope this helps
After saveing than importing tool paths from
library in ops. manager. How to I delete old
toolpaths to clean up library?Right click in
library dialog box doesn't work.I also tried
to delete from the ops folder in explorer
with no luck.
I agree with marting. With plunge rough
you can skip the surf/rough/pkt in most
cases and use surf/rough/contour.
However surf/rough/plunge works best with
a horizontal machine and through spindle
coolant.
How can I customize my tool library in advance?
Is there a way to open the TL with out writing
a tool path. So that I can set it up for the
tools we use in our mold shop and delete the
tools I'll never use?
thanks
