Wondered if anyone has any knowledge or experience with this company's die design software. The boss has already bought it, and it'll be here next week.
Tell me your opinions!
I have also experienced this problem, but only when I tried to use both the standard stick font and true type font in the same drawing. If you use one or the other, it seems to be fine.
Where I used to work we would cut plywood on the Laser. Worked really well high feed, low power and nitrogen assist gas(high pressure) to choke out the flames.
Just my .02......
If you are trying to figure out how many parts you can make from "said coil", I find it is easier to figure out the material needed to produce one part(i.e. L x W x T x density = part weight)....then find the weight of the coil. I will upload a spreadsheet to the FTP site.....(coil weight.xls). Hope this helps....
P.S. I use a density factor of .29 for steel and .1 for aluminum....
