We have a VM7, 820, 800 and any of these machines would handle what you have described. I am not sure what to add other than you may just be into the low range of the second gear range, try getting yourself up alittle higher.

When I bring in a Sat file I get 1 part on level 1 and all other parts on level 2. In mcam9 these all come in on seperate level starting at 1. Is there some way of fixing this? We are importing from Mechanical Desktop.
Thanks
Neil
Ah yes, I am trying. I did manage to get it to the point it is. I will figure it out sooner or later. Haven't touched a post since Mcam6 and I am very rusty.
Thanks
Neil
Something I found.
Torque Specs for Retention Knobs:
30 Taper = 40 ft/lbs
35 Taper = 40 ft/lbs
40 Taper = 85 ft/lbs
45 Taper = 100ft/lbs
50 Taper = 110 ft/lbs.
These reflect Maximum values for Techniks brand holders. Use these numbers as a reference ONLY. Actual torque specifications may be less or more for other brands. Request torque specifications from the manufacturer of YOUR toolholder.
Hope it helps, I have never needed loctite for a retention knob though.

It is most likely a simple fix, but how can I get the pcomment2 line before the pwrtt$ line?
This is from the mpmaster post.
Thanks for any help.

I am getting some error files while posting in X with the generic posts that came with it. Would anyone be able to explain these to me.

We have had up to near 200 feet with no problems with a good cable. We did move a cable away from an overhead crane that caused us to drop carrier sometimes, but not a problem since.
