  1. We have a VM7, 820, 800 and any of these machines would handle what you have described. I am not sure what to add other than you may just be into the low range of the second gear range, try getting yourself up alittle higher. Neil
  2. Sometimes I get lucky with 2 open, but other times I dont. Is there a real work around for this?
  3. When I bring in a Sat file I get 1 part on level 1 and all other parts on level 2. In mcam9 these all come in on seperate level starting at 1. Is there some way of fixing this? We are importing from Mechanical Desktop. Thanks Neil
  4. Ah yes, I am trying. I did manage to get it to the point it is. I will figure it out sooner or later. Haven't touched a post since Mcam6 and I am very rusty. Thanks Neil
  5. I would like to do it in the post, but cant seem to find the proper lines to adjust. Thanks Neil
  6. Something I found. Torque Specs for Retention Knobs: 30 Taper = 40 ft/lbs 35 Taper = 40 ft/lbs 40 Taper = 85 ft/lbs 45 Taper = 100ft/lbs 50 Taper = 110 ft/lbs. These reflect Maximum values for Techniks brand holders. Use these numbers as a reference ONLY. Actual torque specifications may be less or more for other brands. Request torque specifications from the manufacturer of YOUR toolholder. Hope it helps, I have never needed loctite for a retention knob though. Neil

  8. Thanks, I will check it out as soon as I can. Neil

  10. We have had up to near 200 feet with no problems with a good cable. We did move a cable away from an overhead crane that caused us to drop carrier sometimes, but not a problem since. Neil
  11. Mastercam should be more than capable of doing what you need. I use it everyday in a tool and die atmosphere.
  12. All I can say is we are supposed to be a self sufficient nation. I hope we start acting like one soon, before we are all out of a job.
  13. Just like to say Hello, I have been a lurker on this board for a long time. I have found all your information to be of great benefit. If I also could have an address where to send a donation, count me in. Neil. Neil@toolsinc .com
