  1. Thanks John for your fast reply. I understand how to drill and tap a hole with Mastercam. For instance a 3/8-16 hole; (drill cycle, pick spot dill, drill), (drill cycle, pick 5/16 drill, drill to depth), (drill cycle, pick 3/8-16 tap, chose tap from drop down, tap). This is how you tap a 3/8-16 hole 99% of the time. This procedure is followed with any tapped hole regardless of size or pitch. You spot, drill then tap. My question is; if the procedure is the same almost everytime a hole is tapped, doesn't Mastercam have these files created already in a folder that can be accessed so that the user does not have to create the procedure everytime. This would seem like a extremely simple shortcut that Mastercam would provide it's users. I understand that a user can build their own library of tap cycles but since everybody uses the same procedure, this would be provided somewhere. iIt is not that I am lazy, I just look for the smartest way to work. Thanks.
  2. Are there tap cycle files installed in X5 that can be imported into operations manager and if so, how are they accessed? Thanks.
