Thanks Gcode, I have done the last 4 driver releases, I don,t think its that. In Nvida setup for dest top it won't see 2 displays, It always the one connected to the DVI port. Nothing works connected to the Display Port Geforse 8600 back in and working perfect Also went through all kinds of setting with the tech 2 diff times

I'm trying to use daul displays on a new quadro fx580. This is the 2nd card because with tech support at PNY they decided first one was bad because it wouldn't work with daul displays. Lastest drives no luck Took out a GT 8600 thats been using with daul displays for a long time. FX 580 has @ display ports and a DVI Any body

hey Steve, post back if you can make it work I tried when X2 came out and it was broken. Sent to cnc but never heard back. I use advanced multiaxis, but I think it started in x3.

How do you over come this, analyze says there is no problem with surface. I have tryed several surface Even a test 2 arc with a lifted surface abiut 1.5 long and using the flow 5 axes or port 5 axes neither one will work. Any help would be great Thanls -
I have been using X4mu2 with my gt8600 card and the graphics suck. If I open x3 and x4 with the same file X3 graphics are nice! So I thought a new video card would be a nice upgrade, bough a fx 580 and its no better. Windows Vista 64 all eye candy off. Is there a default setting in X4mu2 that might be doing this. I have changed every thing I can find I don't want to wait a year for new update.

Several mounths back some people were getting the Nextengine 2D scanner and I was wondering how that worked out. I am also looking at them. I need to also use there RapidWorks software. Thanks, Guys

Hey Mark, I tried it but if I pick lines it will try and try but never open, and picking mesh nothing happens. What I did before was pick a file and then verify file,then picked that STL and it opened as stock. I'm I not doing something with your way?

I am not having any luck opening a file with this ext. Is this an STL file? When I start to open MC shows it as an STL but it won't open is 37,000 KB Thanks

MC is reporting an error during post and do I want to view I clik yes but the page is only diplayed for a few seconds Can this be displayed from other location? Programs run OK Thanks

does any one use this fx580 quadro card with X4 MU2 Price is about 160.00 I know this is entry level but before X4 I use a gforce 660 @ 49.00 and with my stuff it was ok. The next step would be FX1800. Thanks again

I just started playing with X4 and found that if I back plot the path become perment.I tried ram saver,Reg display list, close and open. video settings,nothing help. Then I found that any file I open(X3 files)that have tool paths are displayed as if I back plotted and save as geo! Tested new X4 file same thing BUT don't have to back plot cause when it gen tp it sticks. At this point X4 is not usable*** Any body elses acting like this? Sending file to CNC Monday.

Didn,t there use to be a c-hook to pick selected surfaces and shade only those? Anybody know of a way to do this now in x2 or x3? This would be great to have. Thanks

I have the full MC suite and I like to hear for the Solidworks users on this form. And if there would be any advange to getting Solidworks basic for desgining . I have to desgin or reverse engineer everyhting I do . Would love to here any comments on this Phil

Thanks Del, but I can,t find anything but the opion for by tool or by operation but this has no effect. I used this in v9 but have never had it in X. Help says color loop will only work with color loop box checked so that,s why I am looking for the box. Thanks again Phil
