Your opinion is really important. this machine is not in Israel and i have to decide if i'll fly to check it before buying.

The seller claims that the machine worked only 10000 hours (2 years) and he wants for it about 150,000$

    Is it worth the money?

    Thanks.

  2. Hi, smile.gif

Think about a wall that i have to clean using climb mill (G41) when cutter comp in control.

I'm am using a special Iscar tool that suppose to work great at high speed machining. The max depth cuts are 0.75mm and i have wall height is 77mm(!) anyway, when using G41 it cleans the wall and then rapid up to the retractand then rapid back to the begining of the chain, goes to the next depth and run again.

    IT TAKES TIME!

in high speed machining i prefer "zigzag".

In what way i can clean this wall in zigzag? Is there any cycle that will handle the switches between G41 TO G42 when contouring in zigzag? Is there any chook for this feature?

    Thanks,

  3. I use file descriptor all the time, i write there notes about the progran and the revision of the part.

After thousands i really hope then when converting an nc file from v9.1 to v.X i will not lose this nots like happened from v8 to v9.

  4. I use the pro-e converter and it works great!

The solids i get from pro-e are as good as solid models i convert from solidworks (sldprt).

If you have a problem converting or you can't get you reseller send me the file, i will convert it for you (i hope i am not offering somthing illegal, after all i don't think it is a problem helping once in a while). smile.gif

  5. Windows ME is a mistake of Microsoft!

You should format the laptop and install windows xp pro (or 2000,but xp is better).

Anyway, let a professional do it for you (it doesn't cost to much) and don't format it before you give it to him, there is a lot of information he will need before he will format (The network configurations etc...)

  6. Dear Mr. Winnie the pooh.

When a pesron asks a basic question and from his question you see that he is not a computer guru, how come you give him an answer that he doesn't enen know what you are talking about (partition, unformat etc...)

A person with a basic knoledge has to know that after formatting he can FORGET what he had in his hard drives, and he sould be sure that this is what he wants to do and that he knows how to reinstall it again.
