  1. I found a link that suppose to install all the the video codecs.

I didn't try it, i know it suppose to work.

Anyway, installation is in your own risk and as far as i know codecs are free do download, so if anyone thinks this codecs pack is illegal, please let me know and i will edit this message.

  2. We are going to buy a new machine but it will be far from the main computer (dnc) and i got an offer from the company to buy the machine with ethernet connection.

He said that if i will have more then 15 meters of RS-232 it will not give good results (especialy when using tape).

This ethernet card cost about 2400 us$.

Does anyone work with an rs-232 cable longer then 30 meters?

are there any problems with that?

    Thanks, smile.gif

  3. You wont melt the nylon as long as you will use you coolant and keep straight strong emulsion while cutting.

    There sould be no problem.

Keep in mind that plastics are not stable and after you take it out from the machine it will be perverted.

  4. smile.gif Thanks for downloading and thanks for the compliments...do you think Spielberg will give me a call??

Anyway, if he'll call-i will not answer...what can he offer that will be more challenge then cnc programming...

  5. Well here this :

I won a bottle of 1996 Dom Perignon Champagne in ebay. smile.gif

As far as i know 1996 was a great year and a bottle like this cost about 200 us$ in Israel, but even if i'm willing to pay this price, it is not easy to find it.

Anyway, the seller wrote "us shippment only".

I opened an account in an Israeli company that provides me a mail address in the U.S and when they get my package they handle everything and send it to me.

The bottle cost me 85$+20$ to send it to my address in the us.

The israeli company will get 25$ to send it to me, and all the taxes are about 50$.

I wasn't aware of this costs and taxes so i told the customer service not to provide the product and leave it there.

BUT....there is another way : I can provide the company an u.s address and then it will cost much less.

so the question is : who of you deserve a Dom Perignon 1996. biggrin.gifbiggrin.gifbiggrin.gif

And can you think of anyway sending it to me.(if you are coming to Israel soon-and i bet you're not couse your goverment wont like you to come over) biggrin.gif

    Any suggestions????? confused.gifcheers.gif

i wonder how come the cmm companies don't have a forum. with this technology and with a very complicated 3d softwares i think that users forums are needed.
