It is hard to say what Bar means, but it is a very common name in Israel.

Bar in hebrew means "open fields".

anyway, don't worry, it doesn't mean "pub".

what bothers me is the word "sometimes".

If there was a problem with you post you should see this problem every time.

Try to figure when it happeneds.there must be something you do that operates it in the post.

I used to have a problem that i couldn't find out why.it was sometjing to do with m255 in the post.

I know this issue was covered before.

Long time no see...

I haven't been around because i was really busy.

It looks like things got better at the last few month (touch wood).

We bought a new LK INTEGRA 10.10.8 (cmm) and i was busy in learning this amazing machine.

I think it was easier for me to learn the camio studio software because i know mastercam.

But even LK cmm can't make me leave this forum.

but only one thing can :

She was born 3 weeks ago and her name is Bar (Israeli name).

She is our first child.and she is the best job i ever did in my life.(so much better then any other thing i programmed with mastercam).

Anyway, it's great to be back.

If i understand you, right click on the operation and renumber tools.

When you do that it doesn't "jump" back to the defaults.

I always always write in the properties of the mc9 the revision of the part.

If i get the same job again i always check the properties to see if the program is in the same revision.

The problem is the the last time i moved from v8 to v9, all the properties were gone and i also couldn't view the photo of the part.

hope i wont have it again when i'll update to v10

after all, sometimes i get a drwing that i know i already program but is has no number so i use the photos in the file-get to quick search one by one.

it will be very annoying to save every file again one by one to get the preview back.it could be fun for 5-10 files,but when you have more then 4000 mc9 files it can become very very annoying.

I'll try to explain the problem :

let say i use a 16mm tool dia. to cut a simple contour with cutter comp. in control and i use lead in/out to define the entry and the exit.

Now i decide to change the tool dia. and i right click on the tool and change it let say do dia. 20mm

Now when i backplot i get a problem with the lead in/out.

I must go back to the parameter and open the lead in/out page and then just click ok twice and i'm back in the operation manager with a red X on my operation.

I think there is no problem in the gcode if i post without "updating" the lead in/out to the new dia. the problem is only when i backplot.

I changed to win driver and tried to print but i didn't get the print 1:1
