I would love to see a file. Really think it could just be an issue of which plane you are in.
I use the same generic post and never have an issue with it.
Generally I would set your stock model tolerance based on how much stock you're leaving on your surfaces. I've had issues where I leave .010 stock and set my stock model tolerance to .010 and you will sometimes
get gouging. If you are leaving plenty of stock you can set both higher and it will make your file smaller(less loading time when regenerating) but will be less accurate in how much stock is on
your finished part. Hope this answers your question.
Hi Newbie. I Don't know what you have for tools that will reach or
what tool paths you are running but if you haven't tried Rest Roughing give it a try.
