  1. Yes, You are righ John, I don't like the way it's jumping around. Is there another way to do it without project all the letters on to surfaces? Allen
  2. Hi John My file is up there,it's called "trouble#.MCX" in MCX files folder, I'd like to engrave on those surfaces, with V9, I used to project all the letters on to surfaces, and use 3D contour toolpath, must be a better way to do it? I don't have Mold Plus add-on, any recommendation? Thanks
  3. Actually, I can do it, but they end up with broken chains on a steep surface, can anyone tell me where the "Chord Heigh" option is? Used to be there in 9.1 Thanks in advanced Allen

I called In-house solution today, they said that MR1 must be intalled to solve that problem, I have just finished the download,I will install it tomorrow and try again, thank you very much for your helps. Martin, did you install the MR1 and still have the same problem? If it's not working tomorrow, I'll send the files to Tech Support,they are just standard 3D cavity and core once again, thanks everyone in here Allen
  5. No, It doesn't work in X, it was OK with 9.1, must be something with # of entities to be xformed?
  6. Hello everyone Is there a way to to move the mastercam part to SYSTEM ORIGIN without losing any geometry? ( My part is a large part contents lots of surfaces....)I tried to convert them to 1 solid, but it's still mising some geometries when i use xform.It's ok to work with different WCS, but when I merge with another file ,it's a pain! thank you for your helps Allen
  7. thanks alot just new to V10, never used the proper way either , use to do Xform translate, rotate and switch between wiew in V 9.1 thanks

Hello everyone I am trying to Xform translate and Xform rotate a large file to setup my WCS, the result I got after always missing most of the geometries, the dimension notes are there, but some of the geometries just simply disappear, is there something with my CAD configuration? thanks in advance for your helps Allen

    Hi everyone! I have an electrode to make on copper to burn a very small thread (10-32 UNC) to form the plastic, is there a way to make it with Mastercam solid? if it's in the C-hook, is it an add on? what is the name of that C-hook? Any help would be greatly appreciate. thanks
