When I was programming for my last place(when I first started) I would make the program then send it out ,when they went to run the program this one guy DEREK ,would love to run the tools in different order that I programmed them ???!!!,Well when the boss heard he was breaking cutters all the time guess who he blames ? I coulnd not take this anymore so I asked him to come to the shop when this guy was running and watch what he was doin.... Boy did he get his A** reamed good. Then after the boss was done with him ,then I took a turn at kicking the cat. Fianly he smarted up and PRESTO no more broken tools.. Dave Ferraro

Thank you all for your comments , I went ahead and programmed 90 rpm feed .6 ipm , I used a peck drill cycle .1 step down for drilling X 6" deep. It worked VERY well , Load on machine was about 75% and it cut only .005 big on dia (wow) ,I was kinda suprised how close it cut to the size ..only .005 big on dia!!!! NO NOISE at all with these parameters. Again THANK you to all who helped point me in the right direction. Dave Ferraro

Hi at a new job and I have installed ver 9.1 off cd ,question is I would like to update this to ver9.1 sp2 ...how? Do i need maintance to do this ? I read the sp2 update notes and it says that I have to update ONLY from 9.1 sp1 ,problem is that I'm not sure if sp1 is for maintance only or what? Where to find sp1 ? sp2 is a great though but i will still have the problem (i have been down this road before) I know there is a file for this fix just can't find the link or post to it ,John that was the orginal post but there was a second post that showed the link to the file (i think someone for cnc stepped in and emailed it to me or posted the link ) thanks for tryin though.
