  1. 1. Automatic feed and speed calculations associative to surface finish and surface roughness values 2. Multi spindles and multi turret programming options 3. Threading output in microns (P, Q, R)
  2. Hi, I am trying to define variable stock for machining on vertical and horizantal surfaces. Now I am offsetting the surfaces to get this. Any one guide me please... Thanks Madhu. Mastercam X Mill Level 3 MR2
  3. If x+ gives tool holder details in setup sheet it will be helpful. Thanks Madhu
  4. Hi, Any one using Feature cam? I heard it recognises toolpath operations from solid model. But I think it can be used for limited applications. If you have any info please let me know.. Madhu
  5. Hi, Any one help me for lathe threading canned cycle for xxxxor 8025, following is sample code P0= X starting point P1= Z starging point P2= X end point P3= Z end point P4= Depth of the thread ... P12= angle of tool nose I am understanding whether I should use miscelaneous values or edit mplfan.pst and customize. regards Madhu
  6. We have used Cimco HSM for many jobs, and their is a 30% reduction in Machining time during rough machining, because of less retraction. Madhu
  7. Hi, Anyone use Lathe for turning grinding wheels? Grinding wheels to be turned using diamond cutters/wheels. Tool wear is more here, how to use wear compensation Madhu
  8. Hi, Here is one Delcam guy, talking about high speed machining. What shall I do? Madhu.
  9. I am not getting the result, I tried by changing in all below, I am going to try with loops. #C-axis variables for calculations c_axistype : 1 #1 = C axis winds-up, 2 = C axis signed absolute #3 = index positioning (do not set here, use string) ipr_type : 0 #Feedrate for Rotary, 0 = UPM, 1 = DPM csav : 0 #Initial c axis result from pxyzcout call czero_csav : 0 #Save csav when circle at zero detected c_wnd : 0 #Calculation for c axis position tracking (abs-wind) prvc_wnd : 0 #Saved cout calculation from deg., this is cabs in mpfan rev : 0 #C axis wind-up multiplier prvfrdeg : 0 #Feedrate deg/min actual circum : 0 #Circumference ldelta : 0 #Linear distance for deg/min, linear cdelta : 0 #Total linear and angular motion for deg/min cldelta : 0 #Calculation for deg/min, linear and rotary sav_rev : 0 #Saved revolution counter indx_out : c9k #Rotation direction calculation fmt 17 frdeg #Feedrate deg/min actual fmt 20 indx_mc #Rotation direction calculation Madhu
  10. Hi, I have lathe with c axis, it can take 0 to 360 degree only. Now I don't know how to limit in post. Please any one can suggest me how to put in. regards Madhu
  11. Hi, I am unable to define rough stock having un-even shape, in job setup. Now Iam spending lot of time for machining. Please any one suggest me how to minimize. Madhu.
  12. I would like to turn a cam profile on a crank-shaft by using grooving tool, it is not by using endmill with c-axis cutting method. As spindle rotates the tool in X/D axis moves front and back and cutting takes, it is similar to eccentric turning. Now I do not know how to calculate rpm and feed rate and how to implement in postprocessor. Madhu.

As spindle rotates the tool in X/D axis moves front and back and cutting takes. Now I do not know how to move Z axis and how to calculate rpm and feed rate, how to implement in postprocessor.
