Hi,
I am trying to define variable stock for machining on vertical and horizantal surfaces. Now I am offsetting the surfaces to get this.
Any one guide me please...
Thanks
Madhu.

Hi,
Any one using Feature cam?
I heard it recognises toolpath operations from solid model. But I think it can be used for limited applications. If you have any info please let me know..

Hi,
Any one help me for lathe threading canned cycle for xxxxor 8025, following is sample code
P0= X starting point
P1= Z starging point
P2= X end point
P3= Z end point
P4= Depth of the thread
...
P12= angle of tool nose
I am understanding whether I should use miscelaneous values or edit mplfan.pst and customize.

Madhu
Hi,
Anyone use Lathe for turning grinding wheels?
Grinding wheels to be turned using diamond cutters/wheels. Tool wear is more here, how to use wear compensation

I am not getting the result, I tried by changing in all below,
I am going to try with loops.

Hi,
I have lathe with c axis, it can take 0 to 360 degree only. Now I don't know how to limit in post. Please any one can suggest me how to put in.

Hi,
I am unable to define rough stock having un-even shape, in job setup. Now Iam spending lot of time for machining. Please any one suggest me how to minimize.
Madhu.
I would like to turn a cam profile on a crank-shaft by using grooving tool, it is not by using endmill with c-axis cutting method. As spindle rotates the tool in X/D axis moves front and back and cutting takes, it is similar to eccentric turning.
Now I do not know how to calculate rpm and feed rate and how to implement in postprocessor.
