I've been doing this a long time....I am not aware of any consistant correlation between programming time and run time.

Like others have already mentioned, I have had short programming times run a long time and longer programming times runs fairly quickly.

I start the creation process in the in program tool manager, I'll save it out but then all of the file management stuff and creating assembles is done within the Tool Manager....

Sadly, if you're using stp files, the standalone doesn't get there by itself...

If this is coming from an older version, instead of rechaining, try making a new op and see if it works properly....

I have seen some odd things happen at times with OP's from an older file, when I have recreated the OP most work.

I would try deleting the config and trying it again..

Restarting and making a new fresh config file

The only real rime savings I see with a pattern like that would be to complete half of the  top half and mirror about the Yand  then mirror the rest about the Y

On the mouse crashing issue....if you're running a 3rd party mouse driver, you might try uninstalling it and see if the basic windows mouse driver works....
