  1. Are you using the 2 axis post that came with V9? What happened during the convertion? When I use the mill / turn post in V9, everything is great, less than great after converting. Thanks Leif
  2. Hello. I updated the MPLOSP7C post from V9. That is the only mill / turn post for the OSP that I have available. It doesn't output any Zs & the Xs are all wrong. I uploaded a zip2go named Okuma_post_problem.Z2G to the lathe folder on the FTP site. I have no idea what the problem is, please help! Thanks, Leif
  3. They said at the show today that it will be towards end of September.
  4. Gilberto, Do you have any type of help file as to creating the animation stuff? Thanks Leif
  5. Roger, I see where my problem is. I defined it as a drill, but drew it to the actual diameter. Thanks Leif
  6. I have some step drills that are I have drawn and am using a custom file for thier profile. They are extremely small when I do a verify. Do I have to give some special scale factor to make it accurate? Everything is done in inches.
  7. What setting in IE isn't letting me download this file? Says my security settings won't allow this file to be downloaded, but doesn't say which one. I have this problem at home & at work. Thanks Leif
  8. Brad, I would just make a custom tool and use it that way. Then set your active teeth to 1. You could also just define it as an endmill that is the spinning diameter. I like the custom tool better. It looks better in verify. Leif
  9. I'm sure it was done in top view. I set the orientation as I have in the past, but will try changing it around a bit. It is wierd how the material removed is correct.
  10. I am having troubles with the tool orientation during backplot. We drew an insert drill and used it for the custom tool. When looking at the screen, everything looks great. The material is removed and all is good. But the tool appears to be perpendicular to the bore during backplot. Has anybody else noticed this? Thanks Leif
  11. Matt, I rolled back the driver and still have the verify looking wierd. It only does it when the tools are moving.
  12. I will do that. I turned off back depth buffer to fix the backplot. The solids still look good, but the verify looks like the following http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i143/Leif-Mindy/verify.jpg
  13. Sorry, MR2 is loaded. I'm running 8.1.6.7. My backplot & verify are skrewed up, but my solids sure look good. I'm going to try more settings today. Leif
  14. I had a problem with all of my solids being the same color. They were suppose to be all different colors. If I would drag my mouse over the objects, they would show like they should. Then if I moved anything, they would all go back to the same color. I did excactly the opposite of you guys and then I checked use hardware acceleration. My color problem seems to be better. I haven't had much time to do any extensive backplotting. My verify looks like crap now! The background keeps changing colors & flashes alot. Are there any fixes to my color problem in verify? Thanks Leif
  15. Roger, Thats the pain about Mankato. Everything is so far away. I would have to relocate. Leif
  16. White Bear Lake is kind of a commute for me. Unless the price was right.
  17. I just got a new puter at the end of the day Thurs. and was gone yesterday. I will let you know what mine is acting like when I go in Monday morning. Leif
  18. It is the post off the version 9 CD that was updated for X. Odd that the DX32 post doesn't work with the DX32 control as far as compensating for clearance height. I am getting things ready to moto, so I will look at the post later tonight. Thanks Leif
