Hi,

I have a solid that has a bunch of holes that need to be drilled on a 3+2 (almost 5-axis) machine (DMU-50).

How can I create a line in the center of the hole or get mastercam to look normal to this compound angle hole

I'm jealous.......we use Catia 5 ONLY to analyze models......Then convert them for Mastercam.....Good to always learn new things....congrats....

It got me closer.......first move is what I want and most moves after that are linear with a stray G3......

Jeff.....I don't see that option in surfacing.....I have seen on other screens but not in surfacing......unless its hidden somewhere....

Rick, I have them all checked.....I just keep getting linear moves instead of arcs......

Been seeing the same problem.....I think it may have started in X4 MU2....not sure..

Arc Filter....?????? where is that located????

I changed the "total tolerance" and it made the linear steps smaller......making the program LONGER.....

BTW......I'm using...."Surface Finish Blend"

I have a simple surface that is cylindrical....When I machine I get a bunch Y/Z's output.

Is there a way to have Mastercam output as arc moves to make the program SHORTER?

I have a bunch of operations (158 operations)from an as shown part.....I made another file transformed/mirrored about half of these operations.......

I then select all operations (including ghosted operations) and ONLY the non-ghosted operations post........

Is there a way NOT to verify the ghosted operations......
