RF is problem in our shop with 14 EDM's. If you are going to be moving your machines anyway I would recommend using double sheilded cable for your new runs.

Not sure what operating system you have but try to go to the DOS prompt and copy them with DOS and not Windows Explorer. The other thing to try is go a computer with the oldest floppy drive in it. Then try to copy them. We have a Windows 98 box in our inspection department that works great for problem disks and low density disks.

On a Charmilles control you have to use the twist mode (G32) to taper a hole the way you want to. The twist mode has some variables to fill out. Basically you scaling (bigger or smaller)your 2 axis hole with the twist mode.

We too use MC for design. It is faster and easier than going into a CAD package.
