Importing Operations Thru Job Set Up

Is there a way of changing the size of the window when importing ops. thru job set-up? The default window is way too small to read any info in it. There is no way to strech the borders, and highliting the text does not show the complete text in it.

Thanks for the input guys.

Peter, that is exactly how I have been doing it, but I find it that It saves me a few steps by not saving to the op. lib. and just grabbing the ops. from the existing file.

Jimmy, all that seems to be a little over my head.Just a question though Am I the only one with this problem?

Thats ok Rob, I couldnt get mine to work either.

MC9RS.dll does exactly what it's supposed to do. You'll need to *modify* it if you want a bigger window. Using the app that was mentioned in the linked thread (or similar apps), this can be done. It does make the File-Get dialog box wider though. One of our European forum brothers made these mods, IIRC.

I get the same thing, Rob. It's not that big of a deal for me because I rarely use it. I have an ops library that covers just about everything we do. I don't have a lot of info in the comments like you do. I wish I could be of more help.

Thanks for the info Thad.

I'm not ready to tackle the MC9RS.dll at this point, but I would like to in the future...

I too have a very extensive op. library (640 items and counting). I like having every operation in the same library in alphabetical order to save on clicks and use only one shortcut to get to it.

I'm only trying to make things easier and quicker for myself. I know there is a few different ways to do one thing, and this is one of those things that has been bugging me for some time.

Thanks again guys smile.gif
