Swarf or similar.

Hi everyone,

I'm working on a 5 axis part and have to add a chamfer at an odd angle. I was wondering if anyone new of a way to run a swarf toolpath or somethin similar with the bottom of a tool instead of the side of the tool? the part is round and the chamfer is towards the base. Thanks in advance.

For deburr purposes, this will work great. It will also work well on any "planar" portion of the chamfer. Keep in mind that if you were cutting a 45 degree chamfer on a "cylindrical" part, that the "form" of your chamfer would be slightly "dished". This won't matter on 95% of the parts out there, but something to keep in mind if the chamfer is a critical feature. (Usually only found in space work...)
