mirroring in solids

Just started evaluating solids for MC, is there a way to mirror a created component to the otherside of a solid? Did not see a option or any help in the help menu. Thanks

Yes ,there is .

Mirror the component .

This is not a solid command ,it is in xform ->mirror .

Or Mirror it`s basic geometry and regen the solid .

+1 you only need to do the Xform/mirror. I personally like to create a line for my control but you have as many controls as you would want as with others things in Mastercam. I also go nito my soild Manager and rename the solids to keep trakc of things if I have alot of things going on in a file.

I had tried xform, but since the boss is part of the solid it selects the entire solid instead of just the boss.

you need to 'mirror' the construction geometry that created the 'boss'.

If you created model suppress boolian add in operation manager tree ,make mirror and unsuppress and regenerate .

If it is exported solid separate your boss from solid using solid trim (select keep all ) .

Make mirror and boolian add
