Script to create a plane from a solid

Hello,

 

would it be possible to write a script that does the following:

1: let me select a solid

2: a window pops up like when i create a plane from solid faces where i can choose from 8 different orientations (optionally select a line for the X direction if the part is at an angle, no i wont move the solid)

3: enter a name for the new plane

4: when i chose an orientation, the plane gets moved to the highest point of the solid in the Z+ direction of the chosen plane and right in the middle of the solid

It's already a command in Mastercam

In the Planes Manager > upper right > the plus sign

Yes but when the face is not in the middle of the solid then so is the plane.

With something like Camplete the plane origin doesn't matter. If you want the origin to be the center of rotation I would right click and duplicate, then edit to your desired angle.
